GROUP MENTOR COACHING PROGRAM
ICF-Aligned Mentor Coaching for Credentialing & Renewal
Program Overview
This program combines small-group mentor coaching with individual, recording-based observation to help you meet ICF requirements for credentialing or renewal — while giving you real, personalized feedback on your coaching.
Each cohort includes 5 group sessions and 3 one-on-one observation sessions, delivered over a 3-month track. Each session is 1 hour 15 minutes long.
Group Coaching Sessions
● 5 group sessions per cohort, each 1 hour 15 minutes long.
● 10 contact hours across the 8 (group and individual) sessions, plus one optional 1.25-hour makeup/bonus session — 11.25 hours total available.
● The makeup session is there if you miss a scheduled group session — or, if you haven't missed one, you're welcome to join anyway as a bonus session.
One-on-One Observation Sessions
● 3 one-on-one observation sessions per person.
● Mentee must submit a 20–30-minute recording + transcript for the mentor coach to review.
● The recording and transcript are due 10 days before your scheduled one-on-one, so there's time to review and prepare thoughtful feedback.
This shift from live review to recorded observation is to enable the mentor coach to provide a more comprehensive review of the mentee’s coaching. The inter-session coaching time no longer counts toward your contact hours, which means more of your mentor's time now goes into structured review and observation outside the session itself. The mentee is encouraged to use the observation form to review their session prior to the one-on-one session with the mentor coach. This will enhance the feedback discussion around the mentee’s strengths and areas for development.
Cohort Schedule
Two cohorts are offered. One-on-one sessions are scheduled directly with the mentor coach.
Cohort 1 — Fall/Winter
October — 2 sessions
November — 2 sessions
December — 1 session
Cohort 2 — Winter/Spring
January — 2 sessions
February — 2 sessions
March — 1 session
Credentialing & Renewal Guidance

● Hours earned before January do not expire and can still count toward renewal.
Earning your credential
● If you're pursuing a new credential, plan to apply after April 1.
● Your final review will be a competency review, which you can submit as your observed coaching session.
