18×24 Acrylic Original Painting; painting continues on the ¾ inch sides.
I painted Storm Brewing after returning from a recent trip, carrying the weight of conversations with friends and others whose lives have been deeply affected recently.
The gathering clouds reflect uncertainty, fear, and division. Yet within the storm, a tear in the clouds reveals a heart surrounded by light.
The heart isn't there to overcome the darkness. It simply reminds us that hope, compassion, and humanity still exist.
This painting asks us to consider:
In the middle of the storm, where will we place our attention?
Because what we choose to notice—and what we choose to nurture—has the power to shape what comes next.
